But the peony
never blooms to prove itself to anyone

It simply unfolds its petals
with quiet grace
in its own time

As if reminding us

True worth
was never born from being seen

It is born
on the day we begin
to see ourselves

Not with striking color
but with a gentle fragrance
drifting softly through the air

Like certain feelings in life
unseen
yet never fading

Sometimes life
leads us through a season of change

People become only memories
moments slowly fade
leaving behind only feelings
that linger quietly in the heart

The growth of life
is not the forgetting of what has passed

But learning to smile at the memories
that once passed through our lives

Like the fragrance of the osmanthus
even after the season has gone
it lingers always in memory

The world outside keeps turning

But within our hearts
it feels as if we are standing still, alone

In the coldest season of all
the hellebore
quietly begins to bloom

Not to stand out from anyone

But simply to be alive
in the hardest season of its own
